All hirers must be at least 18 years old and be based in New Zealand.

Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you an order confirmation. Only at this point will a contract exist between you and us (subject to the terms and conditions of these hire terms)

 If we cannot accept your order or if we are unable to accept your order for any reason, then we will inform you of this by phone or in writing. All orders are accepted at our discretion.

Bags, racks and gear hired by Adventurefuel must be returned by the hirer in the same condition that it was hired (photos will be taken before item goes out) We allow for wear and tear (based on Adventurefuel's discretion) but items must be returned clean and in good working order. Returns will be paid for by the hirer.

 Bags, racks and gear returned that require new parts and/or significant repair are at the cost of the hirer. Bags/ racks and gear that are stolen are the responsibility and cost of the hirer. Bags/ racks and gear that are not able to be repaired are to be replaced at the cost of the hirer.

A credit card is taken at the time of hire as security for return of the  bags, racks and gear. Any costs associated with the repair, loss, or damage to the bags, racks and gear at the time of the hire will be charged on the credit card. A report on the bags, racks and gear and required repair will be presented to the hirer for consideration but Adventurefuel will have final decision.

The hiring of the bags, racks and gear is in 8 day blocks from Wednesday to Thursday inclusive; this is to allow us to dispatch the bags, racks and gear to you in time for weekend use, and also allows you time to send the hire bags, racks and gear back after weekend use. This means that you receive the hire bags, racks and gear on a Wednesday (approximately) and you must return it back for us to receive not later than the applicable Thursday.

Returning bags, racks and gear must be with tracked postage or courier.

If some or all of the hire bags, racks and gear has not been returned to us by the agreed date then you will be charged additional hire fees for such period until all the hired bags, racks and gear have been returned or collected, plus any additional collection / postage costs incurred. Additional Hire Fees are $30 per day, per item and are non-negotiable and will be charged to the credit card on file.

Bags, racks and gear may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the bags, racks and gear on our website are for illustrative purposes only and the bags, racks and gear we hire may vary slightly or in non-material ways from those images, including colour and slight size variation.

Make sure your measurements are accurate. If in hiring the bags, racks and gear you have provided any measurements, then you are responsible for ensuring that these measurements are correct. If the  bags, racks and gear don't fit your bike that is not our fault and we won't be held responsible. Please contact us for more information on sizing.

We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If the delivery of the hired bags, racks and gear is delayed by an event outside our reasonable control then we will contact you as soon as possible on becoming aware of the same to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by such an event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the hire contract and receive a refund of any sums you have paid us in relation to the terminated hire contract.

Adventurefuel will retain legal ownership at all times of the hired bags, racks and gear.
